“For me, it’s the relationships with the other Accelerent partners that makes the difference. Through the Accelerent platform, we’ve been able to forge meaningful personal and professional relationships with the owners of dozens of growing and thriving Baltimore area businesses. Once you develop connections at that level, the potential for meaningful partnerships and mutual business opportunities are limitless.”
“There is no substitute for having a network of truly trusted friends who you can turn to when your business confronts a challenge. Accelerent has given us that broad network and it has already helped us in extremely valuable ways."
When I was first approached about joining Accelerent, I was very impressed with its platform, and I am pleased that my decision to be a Partner has been most successful!
Your group is very diligent about listening to our business needs and helping WestPoint to achieve our outlined goals. In the first six months I have added new clientele and prospects because of Accelerent introductions. These clients will help contribute to our bottom line today, and for many years to come.
Thank you for all you do! I look forward to many more years of working together!
Accelerent is more than a networking group. It is an environment of professionals and trusted advisors who strive to build genuine relationships. I regularly generate ongoing business for them. During my first year as an Accelerent partner, we closed $120,000 of bottom-line profit resulting from Accelerent-generated business. We have consistently exceeded those numbers for more than ten years, except for year three. We tripled that number in 2020 despite the pandemic.
In three short years as part of Accelerent Baltimore we’ve received over 20 new opportunities. That has equated to over $180,000 in sales over the last 12 months alone. We are working on a potential of $500,000 worth of additional annual business as well.
The key to growing the business really falls onto giving out opportunities to our Partners. We have given out slightly more than a 1-1 ratio in possible business connections but I am striving to be closer to a 2-1 ratio.
We provided more than 160 introductions in our first year alone, taking advantage of opportunities to solve clients’ issues and make ourselves look like rock stars. In return, we’ve received hundreds of introductions to date. Where we usually would expect to see 10x ROI in the B2B space, we’ve seen 50 to 70x returns through our partnerships at Accelerent.
It’s a given that when we invest the time, Accelerent helps to quickly develop strong relationships in the business community, by being intentional. For us, these relationships have developed through weekly group and one on one meetings that have led to $500,000 in new business, in just a year and a half. To my surprise though, we have also seen an acceleration in the learning curve of our sales team. By investing time, asking questions and giving to our Partners in Accelerent, our reps have gained a better knowledge of how other industries operate and how relationships lead to more efficient prospecting. We also have been able to provide Accelerent Partners access to our Pacers Business Alliance, as well as, Pacers Suites that have allowed partners to generate new leads and close over $200k in new business for them.
Since becoming an Accelerent Partner, Firefly Children & Family Alliance has secured six new corporate partners. These companies have provided unrestricted gifts, event sponsorships and gifts in kind of product or services. These partners enjoy recurring brand recognition on digital and print mediums, first access to our special events and customized volunteer experiences that demonstrate its corporate social responsibility. In addition to fundraising support, Accelerent Partners have been instrumental in communicating Firefly Children & Family Alliance's impact and introducing many area business leaders to the agency's mission.
In just the two short years that we have been an Accelerent Partner we have received $300,000 in business, plus more in the pipeline. We have given $250,000 in business to other Partners.
The most valuable key that has helped build our business has been the relationships that have begun through Accelerent. They truly are priceless relationships. Within the first year of becoming a Partner, we had already seen a 100% return on the investment we made into the group. The trusted Partners that we have developed through this group will last a lifetime, and I don’t believe you can put a value on that. In our first three years of being an Accelerent Partner, our ROI has been 10 fold. We’ve given business to numerous partners and are always looking for ways to give back.
MTI Events has received over $1 million in new business from its partnership with Accelerent. We have given several leads and introductions to our Accelerent Partners that has led to new relationships, opportunities and business. Remember, "In life – if you give, you get. If you give your time, energy and guidance, you will get much in return.
Accelerent has helped our Business in a couple of significant ways. The experience has been highly motivating for me, but it’s also been helpful for my team as it’s less of a high-pressure sales method. It’s about developing relationships, which is the foundation of our work in HR and how we conduct business in general. Accelerent provides that, 100%.
We’ve received approximately $50,000 of recurring revenue so far during our engagement. There are opportunities for that to grow as we continue to add services with these clients. I also feel very optimistic about our pipeline’s prospects and growth potential. For example, we have a piece of pending business that came from an Accelerent Partner introduction that will likely be around $20,000 in new revenue.

He served as the Operations Officer responsible for the training and operation of a next generation $1 billion warship with a crew of over 300 Sailors. He had two division officer assignments, which included a tour on USS Yorktown, an Aegis class guided missile cruiser. His initial division officer tour was in USS Fairfax County, a tank landing ship, where he completed a deployment to Beirut, Lebanon, in support of the US Marine Corps and the Multinational Peacekeeping Force when terrorists attacked the American Embassy and severely damaged it.
Commander Kirk Lippold is a graduate of the US Naval Academy, and received his commission in the Navy in 1981. He serves on the Board of Directors for Military Families United, one of the nation’s premier family advocacy groups, and is a member of the Board of Advisors for Halo Maritime Defense Systems. He resides in his home state of Nevada where he is active in the future of the state and expanding opportunities for business.
In 2014, Noelle was awarded the US Olympics iconic “Moment of the Games” when she jumped into the stands to embrace her family after winning the Olympic Silver Medal in the sport of skeleton. It was not an easy road for Noelle to reach her success, having to face seemingly insurmountable obstacles along the way. As the #1 skeleton racer in the world in 2005, she was hit by a bobsled in a tragic accident that cost her her spot in the 2006 Torino games. Through hard work, hope and determination, Noelle made a comeback the following year to become the 1st American woman to win World Championships, and she did it by the largest margin in the history of the sport. She went on to compete in the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics, before earning the silver medal in the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics. Noelle is a 26x world cup medalist, 2x world champion, MBA, author, mom of 4 kids and creator of Mindset Minute.
