“For me, it’s the relationships with the other Accelerent partners that makes the difference. Through the Accelerent platform, we’ve been able to forge meaningful personal and professional relationships with the owners of dozens of growing and thriving Baltimore area businesses. Once you develop connections at that level, the potential for meaningful partnerships and mutual business opportunities are limitless.”
“There is no substitute for having a network of truly trusted friends who you can turn to when your business confronts a challenge. Accelerent has given us that broad network and it has already helped us in extremely valuable ways."
When I was first approached about joining Accelerent, I was very impressed with its platform, and I am pleased that my decision to be a Partner has been most successful!
Your group is very diligent about listening to our business needs and helping WestPoint to achieve our outlined goals. In the first six months I have added new clientele and prospects because of Accelerent introductions. These clients will help contribute to our bottom line today, and for many years to come.
Thank you for all you do! I look forward to many more years of working together!
Accelerent is more than a networking group. It is an environment of professionals and trusted advisors who strive to build genuine relationships. I regularly generate ongoing business for them. During my first year as an Accelerent partner, we closed $120,000 of bottom-line profit resulting from Accelerent-generated business. We have consistently exceeded those numbers for more than ten years, except for year three. We tripled that number in 2020 despite the pandemic.
In three short years as part of Accelerent Baltimore we’ve received over 20 new opportunities. That has equated to over $180,000 in sales over the last 12 months alone. We are working on a potential of $500,000 worth of additional annual business as well.
The key to growing the business really falls onto giving out opportunities to our Partners. We have given out slightly more than a 1-1 ratio in possible business connections but I am striving to be closer to a 2-1 ratio.
We provided more than 160 introductions in our first year alone, taking advantage of opportunities to solve clients’ issues and make ourselves look like rock stars. In return, we’ve received hundreds of introductions to date. Where we usually would expect to see 10x ROI in the B2B space, we’ve seen 50 to 70x returns through our partnerships at Accelerent.
It’s a given that when we invest the time, Accelerent helps to quickly develop strong relationships in the business community, by being intentional. For us, these relationships have developed through weekly group and one on one meetings that have led to $500,000 in new business, in just a year and a half. To my surprise though, we have also seen an acceleration in the learning curve of our sales team. By investing time, asking questions and giving to our Partners in Accelerent, our reps have gained a better knowledge of how other industries operate and how relationships lead to more efficient prospecting. We also have been able to provide Accelerent Partners access to our Pacers Business Alliance, as well as, Pacers Suites that have allowed partners to generate new leads and close over $200k in new business for them.
Since becoming an Accelerent Partner, Firefly Children & Family Alliance has secured six new corporate partners. These companies have provided unrestricted gifts, event sponsorships and gifts in kind of product or services. These partners enjoy recurring brand recognition on digital and print mediums, first access to our special events and customized volunteer experiences that demonstrate its corporate social responsibility. In addition to fundraising support, Accelerent Partners have been instrumental in communicating Firefly Children & Family Alliance's impact and introducing many area business leaders to the agency's mission.
In just the two short years that we have been an Accelerent Partner we have received $300,000 in business, plus more in the pipeline. We have given $250,000 in business to other Partners.
The most valuable key that has helped build our business has been the relationships that have begun through Accelerent. They truly are priceless relationships. Within the first year of becoming a Partner, we had already seen a 100% return on the investment we made into the group. The trusted Partners that we have developed through this group will last a lifetime, and I don’t believe you can put a value on that. In our first three years of being an Accelerent Partner, our ROI has been 10 fold. We’ve given business to numerous partners and are always looking for ways to give back.
MTI Events has received over $1 million in new business from its partnership with Accelerent. We have given several leads and introductions to our Accelerent Partners that has led to new relationships, opportunities and business. Remember, "In life – if you give, you get. If you give your time, energy and guidance, you will get much in return.
Accelerent has helped our Business in a couple of significant ways. The experience has been highly motivating for me, but it’s also been helpful for my team as it’s less of a high-pressure sales method. It’s about developing relationships, which is the foundation of our work in HR and how we conduct business in general. Accelerent provides that, 100%.
We’ve received approximately $50,000 of recurring revenue so far during our engagement. There are opportunities for that to grow as we continue to add services with these clients. I also feel very optimistic about our pipeline’s prospects and growth potential. For example, we have a piece of pending business that came from an Accelerent Partner introduction that will likely be around $20,000 in new revenue.
Chosen as the nation’s 12th Presidential pilot, Colonel (ret) Mark W. Tillman served as pilot and commander of Air Force One from 2001-2009. Col. Tillman was at the controls of Air Force One through numerous national events. Most notably, he protected the President on September 11, 2001 by keeping him out of harms way and connecting the flying oval office to the nation’s first responders. Another historic event was being the first pilot to fly the Commander-in-Chief into a war zone. The challenge was unprecedented--transport the most targeted man in the world into the heart of terrorism. One mistake would have left the President open to attack and cost the lives of US service members. Col. Tillman personally orchestrated and executed the covert operation with flawless success. His planning, done in complete secrecy, allowed for a complete surprise to the entire world. Col. Tillman’s distinguished career spans 30 years in the United States Air Force. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross in 2004 and promoted to Brigadier General by the President of the United States—the first military line officer to receive this honor. A man devoted to serving his country, this captivating storyteller will give you a first-hand account of remarkable moments in history.

Once known as “America’s Athlete”, Caleb Campbell is a West Point graduate and former Army officer who became the second player in the history of West Point to ever be selected in the NFL draft and the first player, under a new policy implemented by the Department of Defense (DOD), given the permission to play and serve simultaneously.
Caleb’s dream came to a halt when the DOD rescinded that policy hours before signing his first NFL contract–launching him into his own internal war that would almost cost him his life. While serving his country, Caleb kept his NFL dream alive and eventually found himself playing in the NFL–demonstrating to audiences everywhere how facing our fears, committing to mental and emotional health and staying authentic will make us stronger—even in our weakest moments.
Far from offering clichéd "do better, be better" advice, Caleb skillfully guides his audience through discussions on vulnerability, emotional intelligence, heart-centered leadership and whole-person success. Above all, Caleb’s message acts as a powerful catalyst for internal transformation—fostering emotional, relational, and collective growth on an unmatched scale.
When not on a stage, Caleb spends his time at home in Nashville, TN, trying to convince his wife, Kara, that their daughter, Sophie, and their son, Rune, need a Bernes Mountain Dog Puppy.

At 19, Jeremy Poincenot was your typical college sophomore. Friends, sports, fraternity and most importantly, perfect 20/20 vision. Then it happened, no warning, no time to prepare. Life began to blur. Over the next few months, Jeremy lost central vision in his right eye, followed closely by his left. The diagnosis: a rare genetic disorder called Leber’s Hereditary Optic Neuropathy (LHON), a disease that affects a mere 100 people in the U.S. each year with no treatment or cure in sight. At first, Jeremy thought losing his vision meant forfeiting his life. But he soon learned that with every challenge comes an opportunity for growth.
When Jeremy lost his central vision, he thought the game of golf he loved was over. But with some hard work, dedication, and the support of his family and friends, he quickly learned that his golfing career had just begun. At 20 years old and with his Dad as his guide, Jeremy competed in and won the 2010 World Blind Golf Championship with a dramatic chip-in in a playoff. They have since gone on to win 8 National Championships, an Australian Blind Open, an Italian Blind Open and two more World Blind Golf Championships. In 2011, Jeremy was honored as the San Diego Hall of Champions Challenged Athlete of the Year. Like all things, it’s the most difficult trials that shape who we are—and Jeremy is a better athlete and person because of this sport.
Now, Jeremy strives to raise awareness of LHON, and along with the help of his friends, they have created the C.U.R.E. (Cycling Under Reduced Eyesight) Ride, an annual fundraising bike ride that has raised over $350,000 for LHON research. Their goal is to raise a million.
Today, Jeremy is an Inspirational Speaker traveling the world, sharing his story to inspire audiences to take control of life and turn trauma into triumph. Jeremy is not your ordinary motivational speaker. With a powerful personal narrative, a little wit and a strong inspirational message, he has made it his mission to help his audiences rise up to their biggest obstacles and see them as opportunities.
Jeremy’s objective when he steps in front of an audience is not to dictate how to succeed in life; it’s to convince individuals that independence is good, while interdependence is great. He speaks from experience and has discovered that with a focus on the good, key insights, and the determination to persist through the challenges, anything is possible.
Jeremy has had the privilege of being featured on ABC's 20/20, ESPN.com, CNN’s “Great Big Story” and MTV's True Life and has spoken for many prestigious companies including Aflac, Honda, John Hancock, Kaiser Permanente, Wells Fargo and many more.
