From its 1915 roots as the Kansas City Polytechnic Institute, Metropolitan Community College (MCC) has grown into a thriving public institution of higher learning that answers the needs of students, businesses and community members alike. MCC was the first community college established in Missouri and one of the first schools in the country to award an associate degree. Today, MCC is one of the area’s largest public education providers, with five physical campuses, a robust online campus and more than 120 degree and certificate programs.
Metropolitan Community College courses are being offered remotely this summer. Student services are now available in-person (on campus) as well as remotely by appointment only. Fall 2020 enrollment is underway, and the course catalog is available. The MCC campuses and Administrative Center remain closed to the public. Please visit mcckc.edu to learn more.
